MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MEETING ON 30th March

THE PROJECT

 

Project Oasis is almost complete!  It's now complete (apart from the sound card which I forgot to bring) and a working copy of Windows 98 Second Edition installed.  I get considerable trouble removing the SuSE Linux software which was occupying the hard disk, but this was achieved with a bit of help from Partition Magic, and the use of the undocmnented FDISK /MBR command. On 13th April, we should finish setting up, and Project Oasis will be available for use in our classes.

If anybody has any spare computer parts they don't need, ALL contributions will be gratefully accepted.  We are looking for a cheap printer.
