NOTES FOR THE MEETING ON 1st June
For the last two formal meetings until our summer break, we will be revising much of what we have done before by looking at what are described as the Windows "standard features".This takes from page 67 to 97 in Moira Stephen's book, but much of what is in that large chapter we already know, so I'll only be concentrating on certain areas. The book makes constant references to Microsoft Office. However, many of you won't have any Microsoft Office applications on your computer, so we'll adapt the discusion for those programs we do have, such as Wordpad. Those of you that read this web site might like to glance through the chapter and make a note of any areas you'd like me to concentrate on, as I'm open to suggestions.

The last formal meeting is on the 15th June. The sessions on 8th and 22nd June will be "surgeries", mainly looking at more advanced e-mail topics. On 29th June, we will have our final session where we will sum up the whole year and make suggestions for the future.
