MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MEETING ON 15th SEPTEMBER

We had a total attendance of 22 people, a record for these sessions.  I hope everybody found their time well spent. Another record was broken in that one of those attending admitted to being 88 years old. If anybody in the Calpe area is able to help this person with their computer setup and give general help, please e-mail me for details.

Although I attempted to keep things simple, we naturally digressed, and one of the questions asked was about receiving fax with an RDSI (ISDN) connection.

 With the ISDN card will almost certainly come software which will enable you to use the card as a "call centre" - to answer the phone, to act as a telephone answering machine and to send and receive faxes.  The automatic receiving of faxes is possible, as is fax "polling".  The receiving of an expected fax is very easy.

The software is powerful and full of features, and would need to be studied before setting up such as system.
