We spent the first half of the session finishing our multiweek demonstration of spreadsheets.  Whilst this was going on we were downloading Real One Player from http://www.real.com , the purpose of which was to demonstrate streaming media in the form of Internet radio from the BBC, http://www.bbc.co.uk As well as the BBC, we listened to radio from the US, Russia and Kenya.  We couldn't do the proposed session on scanning owing to lack of suitable hardware.
