What a disastrous day (for the teacher, I think the students rather enjoyed it). The idea was to take some photos using my digital camera, transfer them onto the computer, and manipulate the images to web or e-mail proportions using Ignite.  Just about the only thing that went right was the installation of Ignite.  Despite my best efforts, I could not get the camera and computer to communicate with each other and therefore the images remained stubbornly in the camera.  At least we visited some places on the Internet we would never otherwise have dreamed of visiting in my unsuccessful attempts to download suitable drivers!
