A series of talks and demonstrations by Bill Hayles, retired Adult Education Tutor, at The Oasis Centre, Javea.

Saturdays, 1030 to 1230. Admisson 2 Euros, which includes mid session refreshments and all handouts.

Who are these sessions for?

The sessions are intended for those who been attending the Autumn 2002 sessions, and are a continuation.  New students are welcome, but are expected to be hold a similar standard of knowledge.

What are the aims of the sessions?

The aims of the sessions are to improve confidence and knowledge, and to introduce more complex computer peripherals and use to the student.

What are the objectives of the sessions?

By the end of the term, the student should have skills in the basics of word processing and spreadsheets, and also FTP, as well as better understanding how a computer works, helping them to use their computer more productively.

Text Books and Hand-outs

We will continue to make use of "Catching up with Computers" by Moira Stephen, which will be reinforced by the use of hand-outs written by the tutor. These hand-outs will be made available for download before the lesson concerned.  Look for the latest notes at  http://cftb.net/downloads/books.html .
